Time passes by whether we like it or not. As humans we communicate through language, and its a form of how we generate knowledge. There is no better way to express ourselves than through art. There is an art to every subject. Each individual with the capacity to be creative in which ever field we decide to pursue. We place value in different things, and its up to ourselves to discover the things that make us most happy, even if there are people who go against our ideas. We are in a constant battle with ourselves to progress, and we each have the greatest tool to perserver. Our God-given gift of imagination. Only humans have the power to use imagination as a tool. Let's strive to utilize it, and make the world a better place.

Push and pull the self in terms of trying to spark imaginative thinking. Simply taking the time to sit and think. Merging thoughts and ideas together. In this piece I merged an image of me sitting down in the middle of a garden in Paris. This was early in the morning prior to visiting a museum.

Push & Pull stimulates my mind to think of how I am connected with my surroundings. I enjoy taking the time to simply  breath, and admire my surroundings. There isn't perfect lines within my work, and it provoked the following question in my mind:

What type of artwork do I enjoy and why?

Many times it's the artist that is most interesting, and not his or her greates works. A feeling of being connected with the artist, and his/her life. Artist that have devoted their entire lives to making art. It's really amazing to think about. People, not just artist,  taking the initiative to do what they love and sharing that same passion. Art is beautiful.
